Life Still Has A Meaning
If there is a future there is time for mending-
Time to see your troubles coming to an ending.
Life is never hopeless however great your sorrow-
If you're looking forward to a new tomorrow.
If there is time for wishing then there is time for hoping-
When through doubt and darkness you are blindly groping.
Though the heart be heavy and hurt you may be feeling-
If there is time for praying there is time for healing.
So if through your window there is a new day breaking-
Thank God for the promise, though mind and soul be aching,
If with harvest over there is grain enough for gleaning-
There is a new tomorrow and life still has meaning.
Follow your Bliss

Follow your bliss.
If you do follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while
waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to
meet people who are in the field of your bliss, and they open the doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and
dont be afraid... and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be. If you follow
your bliss, doors will open for you that wouldn't have opened for anyone else.

To those who withhold refuge,
I cradle you in safety at the core of my Being.
To those that cause a child to cry out,
I grant you the freedom to express your own choked agony.
To those that inflict terror,
I remind you that you shine with the purity of a thousand suns.
To those who would confine, suppress, or deny,
I offer the limitless expanse of the sky.
To those who need to cut, slash, or burn,
I remind you of the invincibility of Spring.
To those who cling and grasp,
I promise more abundance than you could ever hold onto.
To those who vent their rage on small children,
I return to you your deepest innocence.
To those who must frighten into submission,
I hold you in the bosom of your original mother.
To those who cause agony to others,
I give the gift of free flowing tears.
To those that deny another's right to be,
I remind you that the angels sang in celebration of you on the day of your
birth.
To those who see only division and separateness,
I remind you that a part is born only by bisecting a whole.
For those who have forgotten the tender mercy of a mother's embrace,
I send a gentle breeze to caress your brow.
To those who still feel somehow incomplete,
I offer the perfect sanctity of this very moment.
You Are Unique

Think what a remarkable, unduplicatable, and miraculous thing it is to be you! Of all the people who have come and gone on the earth, since the beginning of time, not ONE of them is like YOU!
No one who has ever lived or is to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, appearance, friends, acquaintances, burdens, sorrows and opportunities.
No one’s hair grows exactly the way yours does. No one’s finger prints are like yours. No one has the same combination of secret inside jokes and family expressions that you know.
The few people who laugh at all the same things you do, don’t sneeze the way you do. No one prays about exactly the same concerns as you do. No one is loved by the same combination of people that love you – NO ONE!
No one before, no one to come. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE!
Enjoy that uniqueness. You do not have to pretend in order to seem more like someone else. You weren’t meant to be like someone else. You do not have to lie to conceal the parts of you that are not like what you see in anyone else.
You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history will the same things be going on in anyone’s mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now.
If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap in history, something missing from the plan for humankind.
Treasure your uniqueness. It is a gift given only to you. Enjoy it and share it!
No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person.
No one can be cheerful and lighthearted and joyous in your way. No one can smile your smile. No one else can bring the whole unique impact of you to another human being.
Share your uniqueness. Let it be free to flow out among your family and friends and people you meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you are. That gift of yourself was given you to enjoy and share. Give yourself away!
See it! Receive it! Let it tickle you! Let it inform you and nudge you and inspire you! YOU ARE UNIQUE!
A New Day

Today is a new day, filled with possibilities. Each new day is the same. All time gone before is now past, and today is the opportunity to start fresh, to follow our hearts to what we love; to change what no longer serves us in our lives and to move forward with great expectations for good.
It is all part of the path. What may appear to be negative may be necessary to bring us to our highest good. To open our eyes to new thought and broaden us through experience. How we react to each situation is a choice. We can choose to wallow in misery or decide to make the best of every obstacle that comes our way.
Positive thinking utilizing the Law of Attraction does bring more good to us. Even so, there are circumstances that arise that are part of the experience that is necessary for our spiritual growth. So this life on the earth will never be a Utopia. Our attitude, however, makes all the difference in our experience.
Today, make a choice to accept all that comes to you with gratefulness, knowing that it is part of your spiritual path.

An Indian Prayer
O' GREAT SPIRIT,
Whose voice I hear in the winds,
And whose breath gives life to all the world,
hear me! I am small and weak, I need your
strength and wisdom.
Let Me Walk In Beauty, and make my eyes
ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make My Hands Respect the things you have
made and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make Me Wise so that I may understand the
things you have taught my people.
Let Me Learn the lessons you have hidden
in every leaf and rock.
I Seek Strength, not to be greater than my
brother, but to fight my greatest
enemy...myself.
Make Me Always Ready to come to you with
clean hands and straight eyes.
So When Life Fades, as the fading sunset,
my spirit may come to you
without shame.

ANGELS

It's said there is a wondrous place
Where all the angels dwell
A place far beyond our vision
A place where beauty fell.
I've heard it said the angels fly
Throughout this place all day
and if you stop and listen
You can hear the harps they play.
I've never seen an angel
I've never seen one fly
But I just know somehow they're watching
From a majestic place up high.
I have heard it said they're always with us
though some days we seem to fail
but when we reach out to touch a heart..
we truly walk where angels dwell.
....
Somewhere in the clouds
Somewhere far away
Is the castle that I long for
It's only a dream away.
These are the things dreams are made of
Of tall castles in the sky
So come join me in my journey
Where doves and angels fly...
The sky is efferescent and golden The birds are attuned to the soft light blending sounds of the harp echoing... The angels are out tonight working their good in the lost and forgotten The lepers, the outcasts, the poverty stricken, the sick, who all get lit up by angels..flowing throughout the world... The holy doves The tinsel on the Christmas trees The light festivals The glittering of the sun on the crystallized ice The cupids on Valentine's Day The ocean's horizon at dawn The purple lilacs in the gardens... The angels are with us They come out to heal the needy and sound their trumpets for the world... Letting us know it's alright It's alright now...

A Virtuous Cycle
The Ripple Effect
The impact you have on the world is greater than you could ever imagine, and the choices you make affect the whole.
In a world of over six billion people, it’s easy to believe that the only way to initiate profound transformation is to take extreme action. Each of us, however, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others. As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward. The impact you have on the world is greater than you could ever imagine, and the choices you make can have far-reaching consequences. You can use the ripple effect to make a positive difference and spread waves of kindness that will wash over the world.
Should the opportunity arise, the recipient of a good deed will likely feel compelled to do a good deed for someone else. Someone feeling the effects of negative energy will be more likely to pass on that negative energy. One act of charity, one thoughtful deed, or even one positive thought can pass from individual to individual, snowballing until it becomes a group movement or the ray of hope that saves someone’s life. Every transformation, just like every ripple, has a point of origin. You must believe in your ability to be that point of origin if you want to use the ripples you create to spread goodness. Consider the effect of your thoughts and actions, and try to act graciously as much as possible.
A smile directed at a stranger, a compliment given to a friend, an attitude of laughter, or a thoughtful gesture can send ripples that spread among your loved ones and associates, out into your community, and finally throughout the world. You have the power to touch the lives of everyone you come into contact with and everyone those people come into contact with. The momentum of your influence will grow as your ripples moves onward and outward. One of those ripples could become a tidal wave of love and kindness.

DIVINE CREATOR: Father, Mother, Son as ONE:
If I my family, relatives, and ancestors have offended you, your family, relatives and ancestors, in thoughts, words and actions from the beginning of our creation to the present,
Humbly, humbly I ask you (all) for forgiveness for all my errors, resentments, guilts, hatred, hurts, trauma or pain, offenses, blocks, etc., which I have created and accumulated from the beginning to the present. PLEASE FORGIVE ME!
LET THIS WATER CLEANSE, PURIFY AND RELEASE ME , offender and offended FROM SPIRITUAL, MENTAL, MATERIAL, FINANCIAL, AND KARMIC BONDAGE. (Note: The use of actual water is not necessary. A symbolic sprinkling gesture made with the hand will be sufficient to suggest water.)
Pull out from our Memory Bank or Computer ALL THE UNWANTED, NEGATIVE MEMORIES AND BLOCKS that attach, knot, tie, and bind us together.
SEVER, DETACH, UNTIE, AND RELEASE these unwanted memories and blocks.
Transmute These Unwanted Energies to “Pure Light”!
Fill the spaces these energies occupied with Divine Light.
Let “Divine Order,” Light, Love, Peace, Balance, Understanding, Joy, Wisdom and Abundance be made manifest for us through the Divine Power of the Divine Father, Creator of all life, Mother, Son as ONE, in whom we abide, rest, and have our being... NOW AND FOREVER MORE. AMEN.

HEAL THE PAST
"What you bring forth out of yourself from the inside will save
you. What you do not bring forth out of yourself from the inside
will destroy you."
-- Gospel of Thomas
We can transform painful memories by re-imagining them from the
soul’s perspective of love and meaning.
Andrew Schneider says that all experiences have the purpose of
serving the soul. An experience in the past blocked us because
our fear at the time distorted our perception of what happened.
To transform this limiting experience, we must bring what was
then unconscious into the soul’s realm through consciousness.
We can do this by following these steps:
1. RECALL the past experience that might inhibit us.
2. OWN the experience (no judgment, blame, etc.).
3. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for it and the consequences (i.e., the
experience was determined by my subjective perception of what
occurred, dictated by my lack of wholeness -- specifically my
fears).
4. GIVE IT MEANING (the soul was attempting to gain some kind of
mastery or skill, but we didn’t know that at the time).
5. RE-IMAGINE it from the perspective of soul consciousness
(showing its higher purpose).
"Letting go of our suffering is the hardest work we will ever do.
It is also the most fruitful. To heal means to meet ourselves in
a new way -- in the newness of each moment where all is possible
and nothing is limited to the old."
-- Stephen Levine

Divine Mantra
A Prayer To The Universe
by Halijo Webster
Oh Divine Universe,
gather together to form
one great ball of light
and allow it to come forth
with my Divinity.
Let the power surge of energy
enter my center core
and rejuvenate all that is ailing.
That which I can see and feel
and that which I cannot.
Let it mend cell by cell,
getting rid of what is toxic
to my human form and its tissue.
Let each beam of energy
run fierce through my veins
and purify them,
exiting out of each digit
on my hands and feet.
Let it shine out
through the top of my crown
to the limitless sky.
Allow recharging energy
to my center core.
Out with the toxic,
in with Divine Energy...
rejuvenating,
warmth,
purity.
Oh Divine Energy,
my soul is open to you...
come and sit in my core,
Let rings of bright golden light
circle my feet, hands, limbs body,
neck and head.
Over and over from the center core
and outward,
from feet to crown.
Out with the toxic,
in with the healing Divine Energy.
Refreshed,
renewed,
relaxed,
breathing slowly.
Oh Goddess,
wrap me in your Divinity
and warm glow.
Mother Nature,
grab hold of my ankles
and keep me grounded.
May the trees keep me balanced and steady
and the sky, day or night humble, and dreamy.
Breathe...
reaching up to the sky,
feet firmly on the ground.
feeling the warm glow on my head,
I am whole.
A part of the sky,
the stars,
the heavens of far away
and a part of the ground,
its grasses trees and roots.
A part of all living things
All that is breathing.
All energy.
Dear Divinity of Life,
gather a force so strong
I will feel a glow
of that which you send.
Surround my human "being",
help me with consciousness.
Oh Divine Energy,
my soul is open to you...
come and sit in my core.

1 Fixating on a ‘position’
We tend to see any so called ‘position’ in life as a fixed position. If we are a manager we see our self as a manager only and forget that it’s just one of many roles that come with the position. A ‘manager’ has the opportunity to be coach, trainer, teacher, counsellor, mentor, facilitator etc. depending on the need of the team and its members. A ‘parent’ tends to see their position as ‘supreme controller’ and they can easily miss the opportunities to play companion, coach, teacher, playmate, advisor etc. Even the role of ‘friend’ has many possibilities including confidante, companion, supporter, challenger etc.
2 Identifying with the role.
Life becomes awful serious for many people because they identify themselves with the role. They become ‘role conscious’. They start to believe they are the role which is like the actor on the stage believing they are the part they are playing. Over time this tendency extends into trying to play the same role in all scenes which is to invite both disharmony and disconnection. And when anything appears to threaten the role, as it must, they become fearful, defensive or aggressive because they take it personally. Hence the seriousness of so many people in organisations who are almost trained to identify with their position which they then perceive as ‘permanent’. They forget ‘I am not what I do’ and that nothing is permanent. This is also why the life of many children is less than the happiest possible when the parent sees themselves only as ‘the parent’ around here, and therefore ‘the authority’ on everything … around here! Perhaps this is why some parents are often not authorities on ‘having fun’!
The Game of Life
Posted on April 14, 2011 at 9:54 AM |
![]() |
Have you ever noticed each day is filled with many scenes – the scene of the office, the scene of the kitchen, the scene of the church, the scene of the tennis court, the scene of the seminar, the scene of the classroom, the scene where another is in great emotional pain etc. Every scene is an invitation and an opportunity to ‘play’ a different role affirming the oft quoted words of Shakespeare that ‘all the world’s a stage’ and we all get to play many parts…or something to that effect!
But what is the right role to play in each particular scene? And how do we play the role in the right way at the right moment? These are not questions that we tend to ask ourselves. How many roles can we play in our life? As many as we want! In fact we are not only going to ‘play’ our roles but we will ‘create’ our roles, which reminds us that life is essentially ‘playful’ and ‘creative’. But what do we tend to do? We tend to take life far too seriously. We forget that life is simply a game, a play, in which the participants (us all) receive a priceless opportunity to be creative and playful.
So why do we take life so seriously? Why are we not as playful as we could be? Why do we suppress our creativity? Why can we not see life as a game?
The Paradox of Unification
Posted on April 12, 2011 at 7:47 PM |
![]() |
Unity is already present…always!
We often see that within a group or community there are those who are always calling for unity. They say, “We should be united and stand as one on this”. And yet they themselves are not in unity with everyone else as they themselves ‘react’ to the ‘disunited reactions’ of others. It means they are not united within themselves, they are not ‘at one’ within themselves and they project their internal fragmentation onto the group. They want something from the group and all ‘wanting’ is predicated on the false belief (albeit subconscious) that, “I am incomplete till I get what I WANT”. Paradoxically we are all already complete and behind surface appearances we are all already united. But we have lost our awareness of that completeness/oneness simply because we fixate on surface appearances. We cannot know our completeness and we cannot see or feel the unity and oneness in the world around us because we still ‘believe’ in division and separation. We still want our ‘self’ to be other than what we are and we still want ‘others’ to be other than what they are, and we still want the world to be other than what it is. It’s only when we quieten and resolve our inner, perceptual fragmentation (the voices of many false identities and numerous desires), accept all as it is, that we can look beyond surface appearances and see and know the underlying completeness of our self and the underlying oneness of ‘us all’ everywhere…at all times! Not an easy ‘insight’ to gain or achieve but a favourite of the mystics down through the ages!
The Paradoxes of GIVING and RECEIVING
Posted on April 5, 2011 at 3:30 PM |
![]() |
You cannot receive unless you give
Our relationships are defined by a dynamic of giving and receiving at a variety of levels (things, ideas, attention, time etc) but the inherent paradox in this dynamic is that giving is actually receiving and receiving is actually giving. In order to receive you have to first give the ‘other’ the opportunity to give. In order to give you have to first receive the others openness to receiving!
At the spiritual level of giving and receiving the paradox takes an even deeper form. We all know from experience that when we give ‘with love’ we ‘feel’ that love first on its way out. In essence, only by giving love (not Hollywood love) can we know that love is what we have and what we are. It’s not that there are two selves but by giving love to others it’s ‘as if’ we are receiving it from our self. Conversely the more open we are to receiving the love of others the more we are ‘giving’ them the opportunity to feel and know themselves as love.
No surprise then that someone once said, “Through the gates of paradox you shall find the truth”. When we consciously seek the deeper truths in life it’s more than likely we will find paradox waiting for us at every corner and we are invited to turn what we once believed was logical on its head.

What are you thinking?

"There is a thought in your mind right now. The longer you hold
on to it, the more you dwell upon it, the more life you give to
that thought. Give it enough life, and it will become real. So
make sure the thought is indeed a great one."
-- Ralph Marston
Most of our self-talk comes unconsciously from our subconscious.
Yet every thought that exists in our subconscious got there
through a conscious decision to accept that thought.
We need to become conscious of our self-talk so we can at will
choose to replace negative beliefs with positive ones. We have
the power to choose an identity we love, but we need to do the
work. The process of changing our subconscious beliefs requires
awareness, diligence, consistency and repetition.
"Man is made or unmade by himself. In the armory of thought he
forges the weapons by which he destroys himself. He also fashions
the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of
joy and strength and peace."
-- James Allen
WHAT IS LOVE?
Posted on March 28, 2011 at 10:33 AM |
![]() |
"When mystics use the word love, they use it very carefully -- in
the deeply spiritual sense, where to love is to know; to love is
to act. If you really love, from the depths of your
Consciousness, that love gives you a native wisdom. You perceive
the needs of others intuitively and clearly, with detachment from
any personal desires; and you know how to act creatively to meet
those needs, dexterously surmounting any obstacle that comes in
the way. Such is the immense, driving power of love."
-- Eknath Easwaran
"Therefore, when I say that ‘I love,’ it is not I who love, but
in reality Love who acts through me. Love is not so much
something I do as something that I am. Love is not a doing but a
state of being - a relatedness, a connectedness to another
mortal, an identification with her or him that simply flows
within me and through me, independent of my intentions or my
efforts."
-- Robert A. Johnson
"When you are aware that you are the force that is Life, anything
is possible. Miracles happen all the time, because those miracles
are performed by the heart. The heart is in direct communion with
the human soul, and when the heart speaks, even with the
resistance of the head, something inside you changes; your heart
opens another heart, and true love is possible."
-- Don Miguel Ruiz
What is your ideal future?

"Your imagination is your preview to life’s coming attractions."
-- Albert Einstein
If you were to create an ideal future for yourself, what would it
be like?
All things that now exist in form were once simply ideas in
consciousness. We each hold the power to manifest different
circumstances for our lives. If we wish to manifest a new reality
for ourselves, we need to consistently focus our imagination on
the ideals we seek to realize.
Remember to explore your ideal in terms of qualities, not people
or things. What qualities do you most want in life? Freedom?
Respect? Playfulness? Abundance? Whatever qualities you seek,
imagine experiencing them now and be open to new ways to discover
those qualities appearing in your life.
"Change is created by those whose imaginations are bigger than
their circumstances.
